brows are important, young jedi master

I'm sure that a lot of people are already aware of this little fact, but eyebrows are such an important part of your face. Brows shape the entire look of a face, they bring expression and definition to your eyes. Your eyes are the most important identifying feature in a face (why else would they block out criminals' eyes on tv and in newspapers), and your brows frame your eyes.

Things that horrify me. Shaved eyebrows, overly thick eyebrows (read: too many hairs outside the natural arch line, thick brows on itself can be quite flattering if you see the pictures below.), badly drawn eyebrows (nobody likes looking super surprised all the time)

Celebrities don't always get it right, judging from the Pamela Anderson shot above. But then again, I probably would never pick Pam Anderson as an example for good style. But below are a few examples of great eyebrows.

To demonstrate the difference between brows, an example of the gorgeous Tanya Burr, I'm a giant fan of her blog and YouTube channel. I know the second photo isn't exactly flattering, but I tried my best to take a screenshot and this is what I came up with. The brows make such a big difference in her face. She's gorgeous either way, but eyebrows make a BIG difference.

So girls, make sure you maintain your brows. Best thing is to go to someone who is skilled in plucking/threading/waxing eyebrows. Someone who is skilled will know what they are doing and they will make sure your eyebrows are perfect for your face!
