RB4105 Wayfarer Folded

To be quite honest, I'm pretty much blind without my glasses. What started as a small problem has grown a lot bigger. I'm nearsighted and need glasses or contacts to be able to see properly. While sunglasses from shops like H&M and Zara are brilliant, cheap and pretty, they don't do much for your eyes.

I decided it was time for me to invest in a high quality piece of eyewear. I chose the Ray Ban 4105 folding wayfarer from their 2013 The Icons collection. It's a new spin on the classic wayfarer model, only with black matte frames instead of high shine black or tortoise shell frames.

They are fitted with prescription glasses, which makes me able to use them without wearing contacts. This also makes the glasses a little less dark, but that is okay. You can only see my eyes through them if you are really up close.

They fold up to the tiniest little package, it easily fits in the palm of my hand. I love how this adds such an interesting little feature on an otherwise classic look. The wayfarers were purchased from my favorite eyewear store in the whole world. 2Dotz. This store specialises in trendy eyewear and have really great deals on frames and with health insurance companies. My regular glasses from Cheap Monday are also from them. The people that work there are genuinly nice people that always help you willingly.

I am certain I'll get a lot of wear out of these babies. Now if only the sun would come out to play...
