Do you know that sad, slightly lost feeling when you squeeze out one of your favourite beauty products and the last little bit comes out? I experienced that feeling yesterday night. After getting out of work a little earlier than I had anticipated I decided to have a little pamper night. I cleansed off my makeup and grabbed my trusty Aesop Parsley Seed Cleansing Masque and used the last scraps left in the aluminum tube.
It has been in my posession for over a year, having bought it in Paris when I was visiting in November of 2013. I've often sung the praises of this mask as it cleanses deeply and thoroughly, leaving your skin much clearer, but unlike other masks with the same properties isn't too harsh or drying. You could say it is the mother of all masks. I have loved the way this dries in patches and not-so-kindly exposed all the pores on my nose, forehead and chin (shock, horror, they're BIG). I have loved the therapeutic scent that always reminded me of a luxurious spa. Basically, I loved it.
The Aesop Parsley Seed Cleansing Masque has done many great things for me and although this much loved tube might be finished, I guarantee I will be replacing it with a brand new twin as soon as I have the opportunity to pick it up at one of my favourite stores in Amsterdam.
