Some eye shadows are so wonderful on their own they don't need any other bells and whistles. No elaborate smokey eyes with six different shades, highlighters, crease colors and other poo-hah. Sure, makeup is fun and a perfect way to express yourself. But sometimes you just have to say 'keep it simple, stupid'.
This is where my favorite ever MAC eye shadow comes into play. MAC Satin Taupe to me is the perfect shade. Suits my eyes and is just so pretty on its own. You just need a soft haze of Satin Taupe over your eyelid and a little on your lower lash line. Some long lasting black kohl pencil and plenty of black mascara and you're done. The perfect simple seductive smokey eye that keeps you going all night.
