The Five Favorites of September

I've been dropping a lot of pretty pennies on beauty products the last months. Investments I call them. Even though my bank balance is crying big fat tears, I'm doing a little dance every time I use any of these products. These products always tend to make it onto my favorite lists, and the list needed some serious editing before I went and shot the pictures. You simply cannot include thirty favorites in one posts. I managed to cut down the list to just seven products.

Newest in my collection is the MAC Cream Color Base in Pearl. This product is perfect to achieve that dewy look on the skin. Which is just up my alley. It's a bit ivory in tone, and works great on the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose and on top of the cupid's bow. It lasts a long time and just looks lovely.

Another makeup item in this month's favorites is the Chanel Les Beiges de Chanel Healthy Glow Sheer Powder. Finely milled perfection, is what I call it. The color might be getting a little too dark for me, but it just makes my skin feel so good. I don't think I'll be able to part with this for the rest of the winter, so purchasing a shade lighter may have to happen. Oh dear, my poor balance.

I'm becoming a bit of a face mask junkie, and the REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewel mask is one that should be included in everyone's collection. Instant radiance boost. Just fifteen minutes with the fruity scented thick gel on your skin and you will surface with a fresh, clear and radiant complexion.

When the weather flipped towards the end of September my skin was paying the price for it. My lips especially were being terribly dry and painful. The Clarins moisure replenishing lip balm and me are a match made in heaven. Deliciously moisturizing and with a lovely rose scent. It's thick texture is perfect to regain balance on my lip s.

The last of my favorites I saw in a television-advert and they pretty much sold me on the stuff in those thirty seconds. I'm talking about the Vichy Idealia Life serum. Supposedly curing the skin of damage caused by life's excesses. Think too many nights spent in front of the computer, desperately typing, trying to cure writer's block. Too little sleep, a glass of wine too many (not in my case, though. I can only have two a month, personal rule), you know the drill. I haven't been using it long enough to give you a full review. But I really love the feel of this, and it smells divine. I'll definitely be reporting back on this when I get a more rounded opinion on it.
