The New Years Eve Outfit Edit

New Years Eve wouldn't be the New Years Eve without a little sparkle. Whether it is through small sulfur sticks that you wave around in the air or through glitter leggings, it needs at least a little sparkle. I'm wearing a slightly different take on this look for a party with friends.

Can you ever go wrong with a little black dress? This black number is from H&M and is super sexy with it's lingerie inspired style. Some warm cover up in the form of a cropped faux fur will look incredibly chic, pair it with some strappy heels and an geometric bag and you will be at the top of the best dressed list.

Jumpsuits are the best things since pyjamas, seriously. Although a little tricky when you need to use the bathroom. A long sleeve jumpsuit is a statement all on its own so you don't need a lot of extra adornment in the form of jackets and overpowering jewelry. A simple long necklace with a precious stone will look great hanging on your chest. Keep the shoes simple but chic and you can pretty much pair this with every bag you own.

Happy 2012!

It's the new year already! Time flew past the last few weeks of the year. Amazing things have happened to me in 2011 and maybe I'm even a little sad that the year is now gone. But I'm moving on with the rest of you to the new year with high hopes and a lot of goals. 2012 is going to be a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious year!

Like a lot of people, I have made some new year's resolutions. I've divided these resolutions into three categories; beauty resolutions, fashion resolutions and personal resolutions. Will you read along and find out what my resolutions are?

beauty resolutions.

WASH my face twice every day.

USE hair masks more often. Mission 'grow mermaid hair' is officially a go!

TRY new things. Make-up wise, hair-wise and nailpolish wise

ALWAYS MAKE SURE my nails are taken care of and neat. No chipped polish. No old cuticles. Just make sure they look like they are looked after.

fashion resolutions.

STOP buying things you don't need just because they're on sale.

INVEST in quality pieces. It might be difficult, but quality really is more important than quantity.

YOU NEED TO FIND THAT PERFECT WHITE BLAZER THIS YEAR.

FILM more fashion videos. I really loved doing that 'how to style a faux fur vest' video. The planning, the editing and all the other things that come with filming.

personal resolutions.

SURROUND yourself with positive people. Negative people and things don't deserve my time. Focus on the good and things will work themselves out in the end.

BE focused on attaining your goals in both personal and professional aspect. I want to make the blog a big part of my life, I want it to be successful. And I want to start a little something in e-commerce.

SCHOOL is important. Make sure you get your assignments done and your midterms studied in time.
