The five things I can't live without right now

I strongly believe in my inability to perform when I am not dressed and made up. I can't produce any content when I am looking like a hot old mess. But then again it doesn't mean that I want to spend hours in front of the mirror perfecting my smokey eye and contouring my face into model perfection. I have a set routine for the daytime that requires no more than ten minutes. And above are some of the products that are used every day.

Diorskin Nude BB cream - reviewed earlier this week here. This one step base is the most perfect thing. One pump is enough for my entire face and it spreads so beautifully, leaving just enough coverage and a gorgeous dewy glow. I wish I could use this every single day for the rest of my life. I'll probably cry the day it runs out. Yes, I'm that sad.

Clarins Moisture Replenishing lip balm - I got a sample of this ages ago and tossed it aside. Yeah right, Clarins does a lipbalm, probably set the price way too high and have it preform just the same as all those little Vaseline pots. (Which, for the record, is a bad thing) Boy, was I wrong! I came across this little sample about two weeks ago and used it and was pleasantly surprised. The lip balm lasted for hours and my lips felt so gorgeous and soft. I'm sold. I'm buying the full  before the sample runs out.

Zara Champs Elysees rollerball perfume - Super easy to pop in your handbag, and a good pick me up for during the day. The scent is nice and fresh, with a hint of floral. A lovely feminine scent that always turns heads when you apply it in public.

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector - reviewed here. I've sung the praises of this lip balm/gloss many times before. It's the product that changed me from a lipstick girl to a gloss girl. Just a bit of color in a moisturizing gloss formula that makes your lips shine and picks up your complexion. I have nothing but good words for this.

Shu Uemura Lash Curler - Never in a million years would I imagine dropping the amount of money on a torture device that I did on this. But guess what? It's worth it. Easy to use, provides good curl and keeps those lashes up all day. Pair it with a coat of waterproof mascara and your eyes look lovely for over 24 hours.

These things plus a good blush and lashings of mascara provide the best daytime look a girl can imagine. Without taking up too much time. Because there is nothing better than getting ten minutes of extra sleep in the morning.

  1. I want the Dior BB cream so badly but I just can't justify it right now...

    1. It really is incredibly expensive, my justification was duty free shopping. But it's so great that I may have to bite the bullet and pay full price.
