It's been a long time in the making, but I finally managed to get my evening skincare routine up on here. I see that YouTube managed to select the prettiest thumbnail, what else is new. At the moment I am quite content with my skincare stash. The products seem to work for me and if I stick with my routine my skin is clear and radiant.

Get Ready With Me

Daylight Saving Time, how I love thee. Mostly because this now enables me to film videos in the morning. I have always wanted to film a Get Ready With Me video, because I throughly enjoy watching them myself. I can tell that my camera is a little overexposed, washing me out. I will work on this, new cameras always take some time to get used to them.

I've included a list of all the products used and they are also displayed in the above pictures. A review on the Bobbi Brown foundation is coming up soon. I needed some time to work with it and figure out how to make it work for my skin. Also, my skin was in pretty bad shape. Kind of like the Sahara. But with a new and improved skin care routine this now works perfectly for me. So my in depth review will be coming in a week, maybe two.

What's in my bag

The kind of video I thoroughly enjoy watching. All the time. Seriously, when a What's in my bag video pops up in my subscription box I immediately watch it. It must be the journalist in me, forever curious. But without further adue, here is my version of the What's in my bag video.

My bag is a dupe or replica of a prada bag. I got it from eBay, because I'm secretly a bargain hunter/extreme couponer. It was about twenty-five euros. Which is an amazing price for such a good quality bag. When I carry it with me I always get compliments on it. It fits plenty of stuff so that I can tote it around to school, and still have room for an abundance of candy food.

I actually carry quite a few things that I never use. I should clean out more often.

Video: Primark Haul

I have an unhealthy addiction with spending money at places that sell stuff for ridiculously prices. I give you exhibit A, yet another Primark fashion haul. This time I went with some friends, which is something I hardly ever do. I'm a bit of a lone shopper, I can just pick things better when I am by myself. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the day we spent browsing the racks and trying on some of the things. At night we went to the movies with a whole bunch of people, which was even more fun. Flight is a super cool movie. I recommend it to everyone.

January Sales Haul: Fashion & Beauty

I absolutely adore Zara at sales time. There are always loads of amazing finds between the crowded racks. I went back a few days after I filmed this video and found some more things but those will surely be featured on here soon enough.

How to: Fishtail Braid

Want to know how to do this super easy yet stylish fishtail braid? It's one of my go to hairstyles. It looks so chic and put together, without any effort at all. I explain the technique in my first ever hair tutorial video up top. This hairstyle is easiest to do with hair that is passed shoulder length and has little to no layers. If you want to make your hair easier to work with, spray a little texturizing spray into your locks before you braid. This will make sure that your braid has less 'slip' and will hold better.

Ombre, because all the cool people do it

This trend is everywhere. In clothes, in hair and now... in makeup as well. I'm a sucker for ombre anything, I still really want to dye the tips of my hair blonde, or something pastel. But bleaching my already fragile ends maybe not such a good idea.

I woke up, slightly hungover, yesterday morning and I knew I was going to experiment with ombre. I whipped out my basket of lip products and started painting away. I liked the result and even made a little tutorial explaining how to achieve certain looks. I hope you check it out.

On Wednesdays We Wear Pink: Aretha's R-E-S-P-I-N-K

A new 'on wednesdays we wear pink' post. I can sit with the plastics again this week. Last monday I picked up a few new nail polishes. Catrice has a new range of colors, complete with a new wider set brush. And let me tell you, it works divine. I managed to paint my nail with two or three strokes. And the colors are really nice as well. I'm showing you the colors in the haul video that I added to the bottom of this post.

Aretha's R-E-S-P-I-N-K doesn't only have a hilarious name, it also has a great vibrant pink color to it. I love rocking this hot pink color on my nails.
